Kay means "Home or House" in Creole. Paré is a universal term found in many languages (French, Wolof, Creole, etc.), which all carry relatively the same meaning : to be ready, to be dressed.
Paré was born at the luminous crossroads of Senegal and Martinique, in the warm embrace of two worlds. From this encounter emerges a shared vision: to build a vibrant bridge between Africa and the African diaspora, to celebrate the genius of African artisans, and to reinvent consumption that is conscious, sovereign, and respectful.
Thus, Paré was embodied: much more than a fashion house, a community woven with meaning and solidarity.
